4 Shot at Howe Park - Large Unauthorized Party Turns Violent
On the evening of Saturday April 18, an unsanctioned event of several hundred people at Howe Community Park in Sacramento's Arden-Arcade area turned violent when upwards of 20 gunshots were discharged as deputies from the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office were working to dispersing the crowd.
What Happened
At approximately 6:30 PM, the Sacramento County law enforcement was alerted regarding individuals possibly carrying concealed weapons at the Arden-Arcade park. A follow-up call mentioned a potential physical confrontation and subjects running away.
